I am a 57 year old woman that has exercised off and on most of my adult life. I have arthritis in both knees and ankles. I could row for 20 to 30 minutes and still walk the next day. After a few months of inactivity my belly fat (you women over 50 know what I’m talking about) continued to get larger. I actually had a fold at my waist. I began looking at rowers and after much research I ordered the Concept 2. It took 7 days to be delivered and about 20 minutes for my husband to put together. I use it 20 minutes, 5-6 days a week, on level 5 and row about 30 strokes per minute (this is a very easy setting). After 20 minutes the seat does seem to get a little uncomfortable.
